Join us for a KAL of my newest pattern, Glissade. This shawlette will be available for sale on Ravelry beginning on October 31st, and a bit later on Knit Picks, but if you join our KAL by November 15, it will be free!
Glissade is knitted from the top downwards with a center spine. It was designed to compliment yarns with long color repeats, such as Knit Picks Chroma Fingering yarn (shown in photo). Other fingering weight yarns may be used though, and you may easily modify the pattern to make your shawl smaller or larger. For the size shown at right, Glissade will take just under 400 yards of yarn. Since I’m a loose knitter, I used US size 4 needles, but most knitters would use size 5 or 6.
To join the KAL, you will need to be a member of Ravelry, as well as the Tinyknitters Group. Then request to join the KAL in this thread and post your shawlette project linked to the Glissade pattern on Ravelry. Other than that, there are no other requirements to receive this pattern for free!
